Be Warmed and Filled

God lists a wife as a need of a young man, a need just as important as food or clothing; a blessing and a gift worth far more than rubies. And yet our courtship advocates are sending young men away rejected, and with no real prospect for meeting their need. In the end the young man doesn’t get married, or get’s married far later than we would wish… as does the daughter.

Jas 2:15  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, Jas 2:16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 

1Co 7:1  Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 1Co 7:2  Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
